Removing the Windsurf IDE application from your machine does not cancel recurring billing. You must complete cancellation online.

Visit the official Windsurf Cancellation Page while signed in, or open your Profile > Billing > Cancel Plan.
Confirm Cancellation in Stripe
In the billing portal prompt, confirm the cancellation request.
Retain End-of-Cycle Access
Your plan remains active with full Pro features until the current billing cycle expires, after which your account automatically reverts to the Free tier.
Refund Policy & Eligibility
- Unused Subscriptions: If you subscribed to a paid plan and have not consumed model quotas, you can request a refund by contacting support before using the service.
- Annual Subscriptions: If you are on an annual plan and decide to cancel following major policy updates, you may request a refund for remaining unused months.
- Add-on Usage Balances: Unspent extra usage balances converted during plan migrations can be submitted for a refund back to your original payment method via support.
