How to Cancel Grok Subscription & Request Refunds

Walkthrough for canceling SuperGrok and X Premium auto-renewals across Web, iOS, Google Play, and submitting refund requests.

Account Deletion ≠ Subscription Cancellation

Deleting your X account or closing your xAI profile does not stop recurring payment processing. Cancellation must be performed explicitly within the active billing manager.

Step-by-Step Cancellation

Go to grok.com Billing

Log in to grok.com and navigate to Settings > Billing.

Manage Subscription

Click Manage Subscription to launch the customer billing session.

Cancel Plan

Select Cancel Subscription and confirm. Access continues until the end of the current billing cycle.

Refund Policy & Dispute Terms

  • xAI Standalone Purchases: According to the xAI Consumer Terms of Service, fees are non-refundable once charged.
  • X Corp Purchases: X Premium subscriptions are strictly non-refundable once billed under X Corp's purchaser terms.
  • Statutory 14-Day Right (EU, UK, Turkey, EEA): Users residing in these jurisdictions are legally entitled to cancel and receive a full refund within 14 days of initial purchase or renewal.
  • Apple App Store Purchases: Refunds must be requested through Apple Report a Problem (reportaproblem.apple.com).
