How to Cancel Bolt.new Subscription & Request Refunds

Walkthrough for canceling Bolt.new Pro recurring payments, avoiding downgrade token lockouts, and filing refund claims.

Account Deletion ≠ Subscription Cancellation

Deleting your StackBlitz account does not automatically stop pending Stripe renewals. You must explicitly cancel your recurring subscription prior to deleting your profile.

Step-by-Step Cancellation

Open Subscription Dashboard

Log in to Bolt.new, click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner, and select Subscription.

Confirm Expiration Schedule

Verify that your dashboard indicates your plan will expire at the conclusion of your current billing period as outlined in the Bolt.new Support FAQ. Pro token allowances remain usable until that date.

Refund Policy & Eligibility

Bolt.new enforces the following refund guidelines:

  1. Non-Refundable Standard Policy: Subscriptions are non-refundable once processed under Bolt.new Terms of Service.
  2. Statutory Cooling-Off (EU / UK): Users residing in the EU or UK are entitled to invoke their statutory 14-day right of withdrawal by submitting a ticket within 14 days of purchase.
  3. Accidental Renewals: If charged unintentionally with zero token consumption during the new billing cycle, contact support within 48 hours for discretionary consideration.

Submitting a Refund Request via Email

To submit an appeal for an unintended renewal:

Bolt.new Refund Request Email Template

To: support@bolt.new
Subject: Refund Request for Unintended Bolt.new Pro Renewal - [Your Registered Email]

Body:

Dear Bolt.new Support Team,

My account was automatically renewed for Bolt.new Pro ($25.00) on [Date of Transaction]. I did not intend to renew for this cycle.

  • Account Email: [Your Registered Email]
  • Stripe Invoice ID: [e.g., in_1Nx... from your receipt]
  • Reason: Unintended auto-renewal with zero token usage following the charge timestamp. (If living in EU/UK: "Exercising my statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.")

Could you please cancel this subscription and issue a full refund to my original payment card?

Thank you!
